Privacy & terms, in plain words

What happens to what you type
- Your questionnaire answers stay in your browser. They're saved in your device's local storage so you don't lose your draft — we run no database and keep no copy of your stories on our servers.
- To write your preview and kit, your answers are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API) for processing and to our hosting provider (Netlify) in transit. We use API settings under which inputs are not used to train models.
- Your finished kit is generated on the spot and emailed to the address you used at checkout (via Resend, our email provider). The emailed copy is yours to keep.
- We never sell your information, run no third-party ad trackers on your data, and never publish anything you tell us — testimonials appear only if you explicitly reply "you can quote me," and then only your first name and speaking role.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Our server verifies with Stripe that a checkout was completed before generating a paid kit — that's the only payment data we touch.
Emails you'll get
Two, maximum: your Speech Kit right after purchase, and one check-in after the wedding date you gave us (if you gave one). No newsletters, no marketing sequences. Reply to either email to reach a human; say "no more emails" and that's the end of it.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter, a privacy-respecting analytics tool (no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles), plus Google's ad-conversion tag which tells Google Ads when a purchase happened. Neither sees your questionnaire answers.
The terms that matter
- Refunds: if you don't love your kit, reply to your receipt email within 14 days for a full refund. Free revisions run for 72 hours after purchase.
- Your speech is yours. Full ownership of the generated text — read it, print it, publish it, no attribution needed.
- Your responsibilities: only share stories you have the right to share, and review your speech before delivering it — AI can make mistakes, and you know the couple better than any machine. The revision tools exist exactly for this.
- Be decent: don't use ToastGhost to produce harassing or hateful content; generation requests that attempt this are declined.
